I have a home in NE Spain and required to replace a very old and worn stair runner.  The Spanish do not 'Do' carpet in the manner we English would like.  We found on the net 'Raspberry Lovage' runner at Stonegate Carpets and it was love at first sight.  After a number of Emails with measurements etc. and a visit to their warehouse on one of our trips to the UK we collected on our second trip all our requirements, ready cut to length+plus as well as underlay and brass threshold strips as necessary.  The mitred joints for the lower landing and the threshold into one of the bedrooms are masterpieces of precision and made the self-laying a 'piece of cake'.  My thanks and gratitude to all who made this so painless an exercise.
