Wow! Normally I can use better vocabulary, but am absolutely ‘Stoked’! I will send some photos on WhatsApp for you.
The service has been amazing from start to finish. As you know I went to a local company thinking, ‘ I will support a local business, pandemic has hit small businesses in Kent hard, sadly the ‘couldn’t be bothered’ attitude on thinking outside the box and redirecting me to rugs-direct UK, deterred me some what. So I turned to the internet and found Stonegate Carpets, how lucky was I?
I thank Shelley who tirelessly listened, emailed me, sent me out samples and gave me good sound advice until I found the exact design I was looking for, she must be a saint and knows her product and job very well.
I thank Colin for spending well over an hour reassuring me on the quality of underlay, stair rods and convincing me, (something he assured me he never does) on the insert on the landing upstairs, it gives the space the real ‘wow’ factor and his invaluable experience and wisdom of ‘fit your own furniture to the carpet and don’t worry about the next buyer for your house!’ So pleased I listened to him, I am obviously too thoughtful!
I thank Tony for the design photos and making it all come together. Have to say there was a lot of trust in me, at one point I did think, this is going to be amazing or go horribly wrong, especially with my measurements and my very novice plans, but you all saw the end vision.
And lastly, I do thank the lovely Kevin, for travelling the length of the country to fit the carpet. As with anything bespoke we had a few ‘team meetings’ – hold on to him ‘Stonegate’, he is a diamond, great guy and has wonderful sense of humour. He worked tirelessly all day and it was a hot long day for him, but he did this continuously in good spirits and with a smile on his face the entire time. A true professional!
Truly cannot thank you all enough, I am sure you will be hearing from us very soon for our next project.
